Jazztel to invest EUR 17 mln in FTTH deployment by 2014

Spanish operator Jazztel plans to invest nearly EUR 171 million to extend its FTTH network. One third of this amount will be used to expand the operator's fiber network to 900,000 households in Barcelona by 2014. Another third of the EUR 171 million will be used to extend Jazztel's fiber network in Madrid, Europa Press reports, citing Jazztel CEO Jose Miguel Garcia.
