JT has ended its Books for Tablets campaign in Jersey for the year. Local primary school pupils collected over 8,000 telephone directories to be recycled and received over 50 tablets in return. A total of 25 primary schools took part in the 2017 campaign, with JT donating a tablet for every 150 directories collected. These touch-screen devices provide internet access and education apps for pupils.
