Jumia loses KES 105 mln to cyber fraud, robbery in past 2 years

E-commerce platform Jumia Kenya has revealed that it lost at least KES 105 million in the past two years due to consumer cyber fraud and a robbery, Business Daily reported. The latest incident, which happened in late 2018, involved a break-in at its warehouse in Kenya that resulted in the loss of merchandise to the tune of KES 50 million.
