Jumia partners Mastercard to bolster e-commerce in Africa

E-commerce firm Jumia has joined forces with Mastercard to encourage online payments. Many internet purchases are still being paid for with cash on delivery (COD). Jeremy Hodara, co-founder and co-CEO of Jumia says developing stronger web retail platforms is necessary to unlock the full potential of e-commerce on the African continent.
