Jumia revenue grows 58% in Q2

African e-commerce group Jumia said its revenue increased to EUR 39.2 million in the second quarter, up 58 percent from a year earlier. The firm's gross merchandise volume (GMV) increased by 69 percent compared to the second quarter of 2018 to EUR 281 million, thanks to strong marketplace growth and robust consumer acquisition and re-engagement momentum.
