Juniper, Telefonica team up on 'self-driving network' project

Juniper Networks and Telefonica have revealed that they're working together to develop what they describe as a "self-driving network", a project designed to evolve the Spanish operator's infrastructure into one that can self-analyse, self-discover, self-configure and, ultimately, self-correct. New tools and processes will be developed to help the operator detect and correct network faults and anomalies before they impact services and the customer experience. The approach will also help to improve the mitigation of cyberattacks, said the partners, leading to lower operating costs alongside
