Kabel BW starts selling Sky packages in August
German cable network operator Kabel BW has announced special CleverKabel and Sky offers for August. It will begin direct marketing of the complete Sky product range from 01 August, after signing an agreement with Sky Deutschland in July. Kabel BW customers can now purchase a Sky season ticket in time for the start of the new 'Bundesliga' football season. Kabel BW adds 3 Sky HD channels to portfolio

German cable network operator Kabel BW reports revenues of EUR 300.2 million for the first half of this year, growing by 10.7 percent compared with the same period in 2010. Kabel BW starts network upgrade in Ravensburg Weststadt

German cable network operator Kabel BW is upgrading its network in Ravensburg's district Weststadt . The upgrade is to be completed by the end of September, enabling more than 1,100 households to order Kabel BW's triple play services including broadband, digital and analogue TV and fixed telephony services. Kabel BW acquired the cable network in Weststadt from Tele Columbus and connected the existing infrastructure to its own network first offering only digital TV services.

Sky Deutschland revenues up, net loss drops to EUR 53.6 mln

Pay TV operator Sky Deutschland reports a growth of 33,000 customers during the second quarter to 2.759 million on 30 June of this year. The quarterly growth was almost six times better than in Q2 2010 and year-on-year Sky won 238,000 net additions. Sky Deutschland adds Fox HD, Nat Geo Wild HD channels

Pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland has announced that the Fox HD and Nat Geo Wild HD channels will be available on the Sky platform in simulcast mode in Germany and Austria from 15 October. Kabel BW to offer Sky packages as standalone products

German cable network operator Kabel BW and pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland have extended their strategic co-operation agreement. This means that Kabel BW will now offer all Sky packages as standalone products, alongside the existing triple-play packages. Kabel BW has been offer Sky programmes as part of its 'CleverKabel 50 Sky' triple-play package since July 2010. From August, it will now offer Sky packages as standalone products to offer customers more flexibility.

Kabel BW offers 'MeinTV Komplett' free for three months

German cable network operator Kabel BW has launched a pay-TV promotion for new customers signing up by 31 July. They will get the 'MeinTV Komplett' (MyTV Complete) package, with 50 pay-TV channels, free for the first three months. After this, they will pay the standard price of EUR 14.90 per month. Kabel BW is also offering new customer promotions on its CleverKabel internet and phone packages in July. Customers ordering the CleverKabel 32 and 50 packages will get EUR 120 starter credit.

Kabel BW to offer RTL HD, Vox HD, RTL2 HD

German cable network operator Kabel BW and media group RTL Deutschland have enhanced their existing cooperation. Under the new agreement, Kabel BW will offer the RTL TV channels RTL, Vox and RTL2 in HD quality. German cable network operator Kabel BW has selected telecommunications repair and logistics group CTDI Europe for shipping its products and receiving returns.
