Kabel Deutschland posts Q3 net profit of EUR 73 million

Kabel Deutschland has reported revenue up 8.8 percent year-on-year to EUR 465 million for the third quarter to 31 December 2012, with adjusted EBITDA up 10.2 percent to EUR 220 million. The company posted a net profit of EUR 73 million or EUR 0.82 per share in Q3, compared to EUR 55 million or EUR 0.62 per share a year earlier. The number of internet RGUs grew by 84,000 in Q3 to reach1.74 million, with internet RGUs up by 295,000 or 20.4 percent year-on-year.
