Kantar reports pick-up in smartphone sales in Q3, with strong demand for mid-tier models

Smartphone sales picked up in the third quarter compared to the previous three months in major markets, according to data from Kantar. The market researcher saw continued strong demand for mid-tier models and online sales, while also reporting growing interest in 5G among consumers planning to buy a phone soon.
