Kathrein opens new factory in Timisoara

German company Kathrein opened a new factory in Timisoara, Romania, that will produce telecommunication antennas and systems that will be marketed both locally and internationally, according to local publication Profit.ro. The new facility covers an area of 5,000 square meters. Kathrein's antenna and filters business was acquired by Ericsson in February.
