KDDI completes requirement specifications for disaggregated distributed backbone routers

In the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) led by Facebook, KDDI has announced it has completed the preparation of hardware and software requirement specifications for Disaggregated Distributed Backbone Routers (DDBR). This allows partner vendors to develop the DDBR that can perform processing at up to 614.4 Tbps, KDDI also said.
