Kenyan internet penetration reaches 53% with 99% of web access on mobile phones

The majority of Kenyans are addicted to the internet and even more, to higher internet speeds, according to a study conducted by market research company Consumer Insights, published by the Daily Nation. Penetration is at 53 percent, compared with just over 60 percent for South Africa and Nigeria. Up to 99 percent of the people in Kenya use their mobile phones for web access.
