Kenyan mobile money interoperability begins on 10 April

Monday 9 April 2018 | 10:16 CET | News
Kenyan mobile money service customers will be able to send and receive money across three networks directly from 10 April. Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom said the launch of mobile money interoperability will allow customers more flexibility and convenience when carrying out transactions. Kenya joins fifteen other countries worldwide that have successfully implemented wallet-to-wallet interoperability, with users now able to remit between M-Pesa, Airtel Money and T-Kash.
