Kenyan mobile money interoperability to begin in July

The Kenyan government says subscribers could be able to send and receives money between different telecommunication networks in July, following an agreement to implement interoperability among the service providers. ICT Secretary Joe Mucheru said that the agreement was reached on 04 May and would see mobile money users make cross-network transfers at no additional cost, Business Daily reported.
