Kenyan mobile phone subscriptions rise to 55 mln in Q3

The number of active mobile subscriptions in Kenya stood at 55.2 million in the third quarter to 31 March, which is a mobile (SIM) penetration rate of 116.1 percent according to the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA). The number of SIM additions rose to 1.4 million from 1.3 million in the previous quarter.
