Kerlink deploys IoT at Lebanese vineyard with Libatel, aims for nationwide scheme

Kerlink and Middle East-based ICT provider Libatel have announced the first Internet of Things (IoT) LoRaWAN smart agriculture project in Lebanon. An intelligent network will monitor growing conditions at a Lebanese vineyard. The customised LoRaWAN deployment includes the Kerlink Wirnet Station in a proof-of-concept project involving Libatel and Ogero Telecom. This will be part of Libatel's bid to support Ogero's deployment of a nationwide IoT network.
