Keysight, Docomo partner on 5G communication systems

Japanese operator NTT Docomo has partnered with Keysight Technologies on the development of 5G wireless communication systems. Docomo is targeting a 5G commercial launch in 2020. Keysight will support the 5G research programs led by NTT Docomo, and provide test and measurement services and expertise for next-generation 5G wireless communication systems. The partnership will also cover multiple 5G research areas including millimeter-wave (mmWave) communications technology.
