Kinnevik has no plans to sell Tele2 stake

Investment company Kinnevik has no intention of selling its stake in Tele2, news agency Direkt.se reported, citing Kinnevik CEO Lorenzo Grabau. His comments follow media claims that Kinnevik was open to the idea of selling Tele2 to Hutchison Whampoa, the owner of mobile operator '3'. Grabau said Kinnevik absolutely did not have any such plan. He said Tele2 is well positioned, is demonstrating growth and has strong brands in its markets.
