Kiuru says EU roaming price cuts would hit Finnish users

Finland's Minister of Education and Communications Krista Kiuru said the European Commission's proposal for a joint telecommunications market still requires work. Her comments follow her participation in the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council meeting held by the European Union on 27 November 2014. The meeting discussed the content of the regulation concerning the electronic communications-based internal market She said Finland favours aspirations to reduce roaming charges whilst travelling within the EU area, but this cannot be done at the expense of Finnish consumers and
