Konza City to cost KES 595 bln by completion in 2030

Konza Techno City is expected to cost KES 595.8 billion upon completion in 2030. The Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) CEO John Tanui said the government will fund waste water plant and various design guidelines, roads, security access and KoTDA offices to a tune of an estimated KES 52.2 billion. Another KES 43.2 billion to finance the ICT Network, electricity distribution and water distribution, will be sourced from the private sector through a Public-Private Partnerships. The other KES 500.4 billion will come from direct private investments.
