Korea still fastest in mobile data, Dutch most time on Wi-Fi

Friday 24 February 2017 | 09:37 CET | News
South Korea remains the country with the fastest average mobile data speeds, according to the latest report from Open Signal. In tests conducted from November through January, users in Korea achieved average download speeds of 37.5 Mbps. While this is down somewhat from Korea's score of 41.3 Mbps in the previous report from May-July 2016, Open Signal said most countries in the report showed higher speeds. Other countries achieving over 30 Mbps were Norway, Hungary and Singapore. Australia came fifth in the rankings and the Netherlands was sixth.
