KPN agrees network upgrade in Haarlem

The city of Haarlem reached an agreement with KPN on upgrading the local copper network. KPN said this is the first city in the country to reach such an agreement. FTTH will be deployed in areas where the copper network can no longer be upgraded, such as Haarlem-Noord and Spaarndam. Reggefiber will start the fibre roll-out in Haarlem-Noord in April, and all 700,000 households in the area should have access to services by the end of the year.
