KPN confirmed as winner of fire service radio tender

KPN's win of a contract to supply portable radios to fire services has been confirmed as definite. As a result the operator can supply the radios to 17 security zones. Completion of the tender has been pending for around three years, as a number of providers challenged the preliminary award and whether the tender followed the correct procedures. According to a report on the website Verbinding.tv, the claims have been dropped.
