KPN Consumer Mobile Q3: sales down 11%, postpaid base lower

Tuesday 22 October 2013 | 13:45 CET | News
KPN's Consumer Mobile division reported third-quarter revenues down 11.1 percent to EUR 375 million. Excluding regulatory and restructurign effects, revenues at the Dutch mobile activities fell 9.6 percent. EBITDA declined 30 percent from a year earlier to EUR 101 million, putting the margin lower at 34.1 percent. This was partly due to an end to handset leasing at the KPN and Hi brands. Capex fell sharply, to EUR 38 million, resulting in cash flow down only slightly, to EUR 63 million.
