KPN Consumer Mobile to reduce costs, job numbers

KPN wants to cut costs at its Consumer Mobile division and reduce the number of management positions, De Telegraaf reported, citing an internal memo from director Jesper Eriksen. Eriksen said both the KPN group and the Consumer Mobile are at a crucial stage, with the division's market share coming under pressure. The director stressed the need for accelerated innovation in order to keep costs down and so streamline the organisation. This will release money that can be invested in quality.
