KPN eyes copper shutdown in 2023 in fibre areas

Dutch operator KPN expects to shut down its copper network in areas where it has rolled out fibre. The company said that by 2023, it could end copper connections at around 2.4 million addresses with fibre. Customers there would be migrated to fibre by their provider, the operator said.
