KPN gets regulatory clearance to raise Reggefiber stake

KPN has received regulatory clearance to take management control of FTTH operator Reggefiber. The company expects to complete the earlier announced deal to raise it sstake by 9 percent to a total 60 percent from 01 November. Minority shareholder Reggeborgh has options to sell the remaining stake as well. The takeover is not subject to any regulatory conditions. At the same time as publishing its decision on the acquisition, regulator ACM also confirmed that KPN's networks, including Reggefiber, will remain subject to wholesale access regulation. KPN will pay EUR 161 million for the additional
