KPN launches smart home SmartLife Safety service

KPN has started the commercial introduction of its smart home service, KPN SmartLife Safety. The system provides protection against home burglaries and warns in case of fire. The subscription based service includes the installation of connected home devices and an app which customers can remotely use to check their alarm and home security system. The service comes with two subscriptions: Entry and Standard (Instap and Standaard). With Entry, customers get alarm notifications via the KPN SmartLife tablet or smartphone app. Up to five people can get notifications via 24/7 security service
