KPN's charity project, the KPN Mooiste Contact Fonds, has started a partnership with hotline organisation Luisterlijn and the National Sunflower Organisation, a volunteer organisation for people with a physical disability. The aim of the cooperation is to invite people with a physical disability to become a volunteer of the Luisterlijn and so help fill the growing volunteer gap. Luisterlijn received over half a million calls in 2018. Of these, 165,000 remained unanswered due to a shortage of volunteers.
