KPN looks to expand IPTV service to mobile

Accenture is working on developing new IPTV services for KPN, including an extension to the 4G network. Last year KPN agreed to work with Accenture on developing its Interactieve TV service. According to Tom Loozen, TMT managing director at Accenture Netherlands, KPN is now taking the important step of integrating the TV offering with its new 4G network. 4G offers access to the customer away from home, and KPN wants to bring the TV offering to this level as quickly as possible, he said, noting this is a logical step given the TV market is currently dividend between KPN and the cable
