KPN mobile base contracts, TV customers increase

KPN may introduce lower tariffs and new services with its mobile internet plans, CEO Eelco Blok said at the presentation of the Dutch operator's annual results. A number of customers are not satisfied with the company's current pricing, he said. The operator revamped its entire line of mobile tariffs last autumn, replacing many of the previous 'unlimited' offers. Over the past year, KPN lost around 261,000 consumer mobile customers, seeing its base drop to 5.34 million at the end of 2011. New subscription plans will be introduced in the coming months.
