KPN, Open Dutch Fiber set to roll out duplicate fibre networks in Zoetermeer

KPN and T-Mobile Netherlands are planning to lay duplicate fibre networks in the city of Zoetermeer, the newspaper AD reports. Despite attempts by the city to negotiate a cooperation for a single network, the operators are both intent on digging their own cables. It's unclear when the build will start; Open Dutch Fiber, the consortium in which T-Mobile participates, made the first application.
