KPN reaches new collective agreement with FNV ICT union

The Dutch union FNV ICT announced a new collective agreement with KPN, including a social plan. This includes an average 3.5 percent wage increase for employees in the next two years. The deal runs from 01 January 2016 to 31 December 2017, the first two-year agreement in some time after several one-year contracts. Other elements of the agreement include transitioning temporary employees after six or 12 months work to a permanent position, depending on the business unit and person. All the staff will get extra training budgets and higher compensation for the costs of travelling to work. The
