KPN renames data centre business NLDC

KPN has brought its colocation services at data centres under the new name NLDC. The name is expected to underline the company's Dutch origin, with storage within the Netherlands under local law. NDLC operates carrier- and cloud-neutral data centres in Aalsmeer, Almere, Eindhoven, Groningen, Oude Meer (Schiphol) and Rotterdam. KPN announced already in September plans to separate its data centres. NLDC is active in a market under continuous price pressure as well as consolidation of major international players with hundreds of data centres. The spin-off by KPN could be a first step towards
