KPN resumes some certification activities

Thursday 10 November 2011 | 11:12 CET | News
KPN has resumed some of its certification processes after ordering a stop last week on security concerns. Existing customers have been informed that they can now go back to KPN to renew their safety certificates. New customers about to submit will have to wait a bit longer while the concerned server undergoes a few more tests. The site is expected to go online early next week. KPN confirmed that its processes had been compromised and that the ministry for interior affairs and digital government service Logius are closely involved in the proceedings.
