KPN says customers paid correct price for fibre broadband

KPN has, in response to media reports, started looking into whether customers subscribed to internet via fibre to the neighborhood have been paying the right price to the service. KPN started providing broadband services to around 20,000 customers in 2008 and 2009, with fibre to the neighbourhood cabinet and copper to the house. KPN said its investigation shows that these 20,000 customers have been paying the correct amount for the service, and not the higher rate associated with Fibre-to-the-Home services. The combination of fibre and copper provider higher bandwidths than just the copper
