KPN sees 4G innovation coming from work in Eindhoven

KPN will no longer provide services developed in house but work with partners to develop a portfolio of services suitable for 4G, Joost Farwerck told Telecompaper after the presentation of KPN's 4G network in Eindhoven. The MD for the Netherlands said developments may well provide the answer to the question: what will be the SMS service for 4G? Farwerck believes this "killer app" may very well be developed in Eindhoven. The operator wants to offer a package where LTE's high speed presents a real value and is working on services in areas such as healthcare, security, industry and science . He
