KPN still testing Vplus, starts delivery in Hillegom

Thursday 9 March 2017 | 17:02 CET | News
KPN said it is in the process of completing its trials of Vplus and declined to comment on whether it plans a further roll-out. The Dutch operator announced in July 2016 that it would test the new VDSL technology in Rotterdam, Haarlem and Hillegom with a few hundred households. Vplus is expected to make speeds of up to 220 Mbps download and 33 Mbps upload possible over the copper network. A spokesman for the operator said it will "very soon" deliver Vplus connections to "thousands" of customers in Hillegom.
