KPN testing ADSL, 4G combo in rural areas

KPN wants to know if a combination of 4G and ADSL could give enough bandwidth for broadband services in rural areas, KPN director Access Joost Steltenpool told NUtech. The pilot projects provide routers to customers in those areas, who can choose to use a range of fixed and mobile services. The customer will not notice the switch between the fixed and mobile network. KPN also wants to see if it can offer full triple play via 4G.
