KPN to raise internet speeds, tariffs from July

KPN announced it's raising speeds and prices for existing broadband customers from 01 July. The announcement comes the same day as the Dutch operator introduced a simplified internet and TV portfolio for new customers. For existing subscribers, the Internet Instap plan rises to 40/4 Mbps from 20/2 Mbps, and the price increases from EUR 35 to EUR 39 per month, the same as its new portfolio. Internet Standaard goes up to 80/8 Mbps from 60/6 and remains at EUR 40 per month. The entry-level triple-play also rises to 40/4 Mbps and will cost EUR 49 per month rather than EUR 47.50 from July.
