KPN will go to court if regulation continues

Dutch telecom incumbent KPN will go to court if regulator ACM wil continue to regulate only KPN on the market for fixed broadband internet access. The Financieele Dagblad writes that KPN wants an end to the current regulation on the above mentioned market, since the new combination of cable companies Ziggo and UPC will have a larger market share. The European Commission gave the go ahead for a merger of Ziggo and UPC. KPN says the conditions for the merger (UPC-partent Libery Global has to sell pay tv channel Film1) are very mild. The incumbent wants a level playing field and fears unfair
