KPN will sell E-Plus but only for the right price - Blok

Tuesday 24 July 2012 | 11:20 CET | News
KPN said it will sell E-Plus when it gets a good offer, KPN CEO Eelco Blok said during a press conference following the company's release of second quarter results. Until then, the Dutch operator will continue to invest in its German mobile unit, expanding its mobile network (mobile internet) and introducing new subscription plans. As previously announced, Belgian unit Base will remain on sale. KPN was reportedly in talks with Spain's Telefonica about merging E-Plus and O2 Spain but these faltered when the Spanish incumbent was downgraded by Moody's.
