KPN workers against swift dismissals, offshoring - Qlix

A minority of KPN employees (40%) agree with the need for an accelerated layoff of 4,000-5,000 employees, according to a survey made by Qlix, the second strongest union within KPN. KPN CEO Eelco Blok announced the layoffs earlier this year as part of a major reorganisation of the entire company. Most empoyees do not see the need for the accelerated dismissals. Around 78 percent of surveyed employees also do not agree with KPN's move outsouce more services offshore.
