KPN working on mobile TV

KPN is working on a new mobile TV offering, as part of a range of products and services it is developing, the operator told Telecompaper following the release of its second quarter results and news it sold E-Plus to Telefonica. The KPN spokesperson said the operator was increasingly looking at products and services that bridged the gap between fixed and mobile connections. KPN could not say when mobile TV will be launched, but did say that 4G was an excellent medium to integrate fixed and mobile. KPN brought out mobile TV in 2008, via DVB-H.
