Krungsri, NTT Data launch MyPromptQR service for Thai consumers in Japan

Wednesday 14 October 2020 | 08:29 CET | News
Thai commercial bank Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL and its business units), and NTT Data have jointly launched 'MyPromptQR', a cross-border QR code payment platform for Thai consumers in Japan. Because of Covid-19 pandemic international travel restrictions, during this initial stage, Krungsri and NTT Data plan to launch the MyPromptQR in the fourth quarter of this year, or when international travel is expected to resume. The service will be expanded into stores and shopping centers across Japan in the next phase of collaboration.
