KT expands LTE-A services, mulls closure of 3G

Korean communications provider KT has expanded its LTE-A services in Seoul and is considering closing down its 3G network in several years time, the Korea Times wites. KT plans to expand the service to 85 cities across the nation by December this year and is considering closing the current 3G service by 2020.
