KT to deploy GiGA Genie AI service in Busan apartments

South Korean operator KT has announced it will deploy its artificial intelligence (AI) home assistant platform in the Lotte Castle apartment complex in the city of Busan, Yonhap news agency reports. Dubbed 'GiGA Genie', the voice recognition butler service allows users to control home appliances and listen to music using voice commands. GiGA Genie is an IPTV service featuring AI technology.
