Lancom calls on Dutch govt to allow free modem choice

Wednesday 7 March 2018 | 17:25 CET | News
Lancom Systems is calling for the Dutch government to push forward rules assuring people have the freedom to choose their modems and routers. The German producer of enterprise and consumer routers and access points made the statement in reaction to a consultation that the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (EZK) held on this subject in December. Germany still has a number of manufacturers for modems, routers and access points, with Lancom as one of these. These companies say they could deliver products as good as internet providers, if it were legal to do so.
