Monday 17 August 2015 | 10:23 CET | News
The final episode of Top Gear was the second most requested show on iPlayer's catch-up service in July, with 1.04 million requests. The show aired on 28 June, a few weeks before the announcement of a future series with Amazon. Other popular catch-up episodes in July were from EastEnders, The Outcast and Dragons' Den. Separately, Digital Spy reports that the BBC will revamp Top Gear on BBC Two with Chris Evans as the front man, although his colleagues are still unknown. The Stig has landed a separate show with Dermot O'Leary on BBC One.
