Last week in telecoms: M&A and spectrum auctions

Week 16 was heavy on M&A and auctions related news. The Telecompaper Stock Index European Telecoms Services ended the week up 0.4 percent, behind the EuroStoxx 50's 1.5 percent gain. Year-to-date, our index is strongly underperforming the broader market with a gain of just 6.4 percent, versus +16.6 percent for the EuroStoxx 50.
